Hey, First of all congrats! I got linked to your blog from google searching "expired police certificate buffalo cic". I was wondering when the application was returned to you for not having "present" on it, was your upfront fee forfeited? I have a police cert that is 3mths and 25days old and I'm considering sending it in as getting it all over again from 1/2 way round the world would be a lengthy process. Also, did they make it an issue with your expired police cert when you resubmitted?
There was no issue with the expired police certificate and they never asked for a new one.
The did not keep the fees the first time. They cannot do that as they did not accept my application the first time because of missing info on the form. Good luck.
