Our immigration journey officially started on 10/10/2008 when I e-mailed some documents to Alberta for pre-assessment under 'AINP U.S. Visa Holder Category.' Landed as PR on 11/15/2009. Timeline is at the end.
Hi nix1, I received my nomination and need to send my application to Buffalo. What baffles me is, do I need to send the application fees of $550 in US dollars or Canadian Dollars. Please reply as a comment here.
Congratulations! You can send the fees in either currency. If you send it in Canadian Dollar, then it is $550. If you send it in US Dollar, then it is $465. Buffalo accepts either curreny and if you live in the US, it is much easier and cheaper to get Money Order or Cashier's Check in US dollar. Good luck.
